Benefits Specialist
The Benefits Specialist serves as a subject matter expert related to health and welfare plans, from medical and dental benefits to disability and voluntary benefits plans for employees across the College. The Benefits Specialist provides benefits education and guidance through the College’s training, outreach, and orientation programs, and provides direct service, guidance, and support to employees. In addition to researching, analyzing, and administering plans, the Benefits Specialist assists with researching claims disputes and solving problems with benefits plans. This position collaborates and works closely with the Payroll Services team to confirm accurate benefits deductions and tracking of tuition reimbursement.

Employee and Labor Relations Manager

The Employee and Labor Relations Manager, under the direction of the director of Employee Engagement and Labor Relations, leads and supervises a team providing direct service and support to the Colleges supervisors and employees on employee and labor relation matters. This position is accountable for investigating and resolving employee performance issues and complaints, managing grievance procedures, and facilitating coaching and counseling in a timely, efficient manner. Program activities include negotiation of collective bargaining agreements; contract administration and interpretation; and, guidance/coordination of related management activities consistent with the mission of the college and the direction of the College’s leadership.

Employee and Labor Relations Specialist

The Employee and Labor Relations Specialist provides guidance, counsel, and support to supervisors, managers, and administrators regarding employee relations issues in accordance with applicable College policies and procedures, collective bargaining agreements, federal/state/municipal regulations and statutes. This position's primary responsibilities include handling complaint investigations, providing performance management and discipline guidance, and guidance and coaching to mediate and resolve conflict. Labor relations responsibilities include working collaboratively with the College's three (3) unions by leading and coordinating the joint labor/management collaboration committees (LMCCs), preparing for and participating in the collective bargaining process, and managing any grievances.

HR Communications and Digital Media Specialist

The HR Communications and Digital Media Specialist, working in collaboration with the HR Leadership Team, develops and executes a comprehensive, annual communication and outreach program. As the department’s subject matter expert, the Communications Specialist oversees and coordinates all collegewide communication and outreach efforts to ensure that employees and supervisors are well informed and familiar with the Colleges human resources programs and services. In addition to serving as the department’s webmaster, the HR Communications Specialist develops, drafts, and edits communication content including the weekly employee e-newsletter, recruiting and marketing materials and advertisements, brochures, employee handbooks, administrative memorandums, annual reports, etc. This position supports all functional teams throughout HR and collaborates and works closely with the College’s Communications and IT Web Services teams.

HR Workday Analyst

The HR Workday Analyst manages and maintains the overall system functionality and performance of all modules of the College’s HR information system, Workday (i.e., HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Absence, HR Finance). The HR Workday Analyst troubleshoots system and integration issues and provides effective solutions, and ensures the integrity of HR data (i.e., quality, accuracy, security, and usability of employee data and related interfaces) by implementing adequate processes and audits. The position collaborates and maintains effective working relationships with key stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate business requirements regarding the Workday system.

Leave Specialist

The Leave Specialist coordinates and administers the College’s Leave of Absence and Disability Program, Return to Work/Light Duty Program and Worker’s Compensation and ADA claims in adherence with policies and procedures, collective bargaining obligations, and legal mandates. The Leave Specialist serves as point of contact for employees and/or supervisors to identify and provide reasonable accommodations, and coordinates and maintains documentation on accommodation efforts. This position also collaborates and contributes to the development, implementation, and monitoring of policies, procedures, standards, and guidelines for determining and assessing leaves of absence.

Talent Acquisition and Employment Manager
