Study Spaces Guidelines
Montgomery College Library has three types of study spaces: collaborative workstations, group study rooms, and one button studios.
General Guidelines
All library study spaces may be reserved online in advance or are available to walk-ins.

- Users must click the link in the confirmation email within two hours of submitting a request or the reservation will be canceled.
- Reservations may be forfeited if the study space is not occupied within 15 minutes of the reserved time.
- Study spaces must be occupied at all times by group members, with no personal belongings left unattended.
- A group that reserves a study space has priority use of that space.
- Each study space has a minimum and maximum group size. Please review the review the details for each space type below, or when booking the space, for specific group size requirements. Additional chairs may not be moved into the space to accommodate more people.

Promote collaboration on projects by allowing users to share screens from personal devices (laptops and tablets) to a larger, shared screen.

- Groups of 3 to 6.
- Student use of workstations takes priority over others.
- Collaborative workstations are located at the Rockville and Takoma Park/Silver Spring library locations.
- Because the workstations are located in open areas in the library, conversations at the workstations must not disturb other library users.
- The workstations support two cable types: VGA and HDMI. The library loans these cables for use with the workstations at the service desk.
Enable students to work as a group without disturbing others in the library.
USERS
- Montgomery College students.
- Montgomery College part-time faculty who want to utilize rooms to consult privately with students.

- Germantown and Rockville group study rooms require a minimum of three students per group.

LOCATIONS AND EQUIPMENT
- Group study rooms are located at all MC Library locations.

- 如果逾期归还房间钥匙，将被罚款每小时2美元，最高不超过8美元。

Allows users to quickly and easily create high-quality videos with no experience or technical knowledge.
USERS
- 世界杯摩洛哥vs克罗地亚欧赔蒙哥马利学院的学生、教师或工作人员持有当前的MC ID卡。
- Student use of this service takes priority over other users.
LOCATIONS AND EQUIPMENT

- Upon arriving at the library, the users should visit the service desk and present a current MC ID card to borrow the room key.

- Each one button studio comes equipped with a microphone, studio light, and camera, all ready for use.
- Users must bring their own USB drive to save their video file.
