COVID-19 Vaccines

Daily COVID-19 Symptom Self-Assessment

All employees, students, contractors, and visitors must complete adaily self-assessmentprior to arriving at any MC campus or off-site location.

Our goal with this request is simple: Protect students, faculty, and staff, as well as our surrounding communities. Health and safety remain our top priority.

Student Vaccination and Testing Requirements

Montgomery College will continue to expect students attending face-to-face classes or using on-campus student support services in the summer and fall 2022 terms to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 or request a medical or religious exception. Students who have approved medical or religious exceptions are expected to continue withweekly COVID-19 testing. We strongly recommend that all students get vaccinated and boostered for the health and safety of our community.

Students who are registered for summer or fall semesters may access the College portal and upload vaccination documentation at the button below.

Students who were registered for spring 2022 and already submitted their vaccination documentation should update their records with vaccine booster documentation, if this was not already submitted. Otherwise, no additional vaccination documentation is required from these students for summer and fall enrollment.

Students taking a fully online schedule of classes with no need for in-person services are exemptfrom the vaccination and testing expectation. However, the expectation becomes effective if a student wants to access any onsite class or service.

Log in to our student vaccine portal (Medicat) at the button below, after you register for classes using your MyMC credentials to submit your vaccination proof or exception request or check your status. Medicat is reviewing documents as quickly as they can and are verifying documents on average within two weeks. If you are fully vaccinated and have an “awaiting verification” status in Medicat, you can attend your in-person classes and access in-person services. If you have requested an exception, you must upload a negative PCR test prior to attending an in-person class or accessing in-person services. You must continue to upload a negative PCR test weekly during the semester. Begin checking your status after five days. If you have trouble logging in, contactIT Service Desk.

NOTE: You must be registered for class before you can submit your proof of vaccination or exception request. If you register for a class by 12 p.m., you will be able to access the portal the same day. If you register after 12 p.m., you will be able to access the portal after 6 a.m. the following day.
