Access Library E-Resources
On-Campus Access
MC students, employees, and community users can access any of the library's e-resources (databases, e-books, streaming videos, etc.) from any MC campus. Simply connect to the WiFi or use one of our computer workstations to access.
Off-Campus Access
MC students and employees can access our e-resources from any off-campus location. Before accessing from off campus, you will be prompted to enter your M number, including the M and all numbers.
Community users are not permitted to access library e-resources from an off-campus location.

Please review the information below. If you're still having issues, report the problem using the button below and a library employee will assist you Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. (except when Montgomery College is closed).

General Information
- Only currently-enrolled students and current faculty and staff can access e-resources remotely. Others are welcome to use e-resources in the library.
- Student information is added daily at the beginning of each semester or session. If you registered late, you may have to wait a day or two in order to access resources remotely.
- Part-time faculty information comes from HRSTM. Your department's administrative aide will enter your information in the Banner Information System. If you are having trouble accessing resources remotely, check with your department to see if your information has been entered.
- For optimal access, please use an internet browser other than Internet Explorer (e.g., Firefox, Google Chrome).
