How to Apply for Health Sciences Programs

Some programs may have additional steps or requirements; attend an information session for details.

Most health science programs hold monthly information sessions to share information about the curriculum, the admission requirements, and the application process. Most information sessions are conducted by the Program Coordinator with special guests to answer questions about the Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS).

有些程序要求您通过单击“立即注册”链接或直接发送电子邮件给程序协调员来预注册Zoom。点击下面的项目,直接进入该项目的招生信息和资源网页。按照网页上的说明,参加即将到来的信息会议。

The ATI TEAS is a timed, computer-based, multiple-choice assessment test used by the Health Sciences Institute and Center at Montgomery College to evaluate the academic preparedness of entry-level health sciences students in reading comprehension, math, science, and English and language usage.

We strongly encourage students applying to the Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Physical Therapist Assistant, and Polysomnography programs to prepare for the TEAS. The TEAS is not required for surgical technology. Plan to attend aTEAS information sessionto understand how TEAS is used in the application process, to connect with available resources, and to learn how to best prepare for the exam.
