Mathematics is an exciting field with many opportunities. Montgomery College offers numerous math courses and two math degrees. You can take math classes at each MC campus—in Germantown, Rockville, and Takoma Park/Silver Spring.

The science associate’s degree, math area of concentration, is a transfer program that provides the first two years of courses necessary for a four-year baccalaureate degree in mathematics.

The associate of arts in teaching, with a focus on secondary education mathematics, prepares students to transfer to any secondary education mathematics program at a four-year college or university in the state of Maryland.

MC also offers a science, technology, engineering, and mathematics core (STEM) in the general studies degree program.

Whether you want to take a math class or prepare for a bachelor’s degree, we are here to help. We look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve your academic goals.
